The challenge:

Tecalum Sistemas operated with a completely manual document management model: the reception, classification, and recording of delivery notes and orders depended on human intervention at every step. This dependency generated transcription errors, lack of traceability, and an administrative burden that scaled with volume. In a growth context, the model was unsustainable.

The solution:

We designed an intelligent automation system based on N8N as an orchestration engine, capable of intercepting, interpreting, and routing documents autonomously:

• Intelligent classification of incoming emails: delivery notes, orders, complaints, and general communications, automatically.

• Extraction and validation of data from attached documents, with verification of key fields before entry into the system.

• Real-time synchronisation with SharePoint, ensuring full traceability and immediate availability for operations and finance teams.

The solution:

The system completely eliminated manual intervention in the standard document flow. A process prone to errors became a reliable, auditable, and scalable pipeline.

Real case: HONEXT — Full traceability of the production cycle with SCADA

The challenge:

HONEXT, a pioneering company in construction materials made from paper industry waste, had a structural problem: information on raw materials, manufacturing parameters, quality results, and machinery status lived in completely disconnected silos. This fragmentation prevented a unified view of the production cycle and limited the capacity for continuous improvement.

The solution:

We designed a comprehensive traceability system that connects all phases of the production cycle in real time:

• Ignition (industrial SCADA) as a data acquisition engine directly from the machinery, capturing critical process variables in a structured and auditable database.

• Google Apps Script as an integration layer between Ignition, the quality systems, and the team's tools, automatically correlating plant data with quality records.

Result:

Complete end-to-end traceability: from raw material intake to final quality control, each batch is documented automatically. The team has, for the first time, a unified view of the production process, with the ability to analyse by batch, shift, operator, or machine parameter.
